ARTIST'S STATEMENT Terry Taylor is a native San Franciscan. He is a graduate of Burlingame High School, where he focused on art for 4 years under the tutelage of Mr. Donat Pat. He was encouraged to continue drawing, and after spending 2 years in the Army, in Germany, he attended the San Francisco Art Institute for photog≠raphy. His career took him into the Printing and Graphic Arts world. He was fortunate to study for a brief period with the renowned Italian artist, Mr. Roberto Lupetti. Terry was so inspired that he started experimenting with his own unique technique in fine line charcoal and pastels. His love of Native American heritage and Californiaís exquisite open space and coastline is the theme of this collection.
