ARTIST'S STATEMENT

Jan Prisco specializes in portraiture and landscape painting.  Her goal is always to capture the likeness and vitality of those she paints in portraiture as well as capturing the mood and light of California’s landscape.  She especially enjoys pastel painting due to the variety and vibrancy of pure color it provides.
